Driver in Custody

The driver involved in the alleged hit and run accident along Milverton Road yesterday morning is in Police custody.

The victim who is in his 20s remains admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Initial information gathered on the vehicle registration has been ruled out.

Investigators however managed to track down the same vehicle seen in the CCTV footage with a different registration.

Investigations continue.
