Four Rescued

Mariners are advised to take heed of warnings before going out to sea.

This was after the Water Police rescued four fisherman this morning in the Suva Harbor. Strong Winds had caused their 14 ft wooden boat to capsize and the WATERPOL team patrolling in the area came to their rescue.

The Fiji Police Force is calling on Mariners to check the weather forecast before going out to sea.

According to the Nadi Weather Office we should be expecting coastal sea flooding during high tides over the coastal areas of southern parts of Viti Levu, Southern coastal areas of: Mamanuca Group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala Group, Lomaiviti Group and the Southern Lau Group.

Rough to very rough seas are expected.

Meanwhile the search continues for the 29 year old Olosara man that went diving in waters near Korotogo, Sigatoka on Tuesday afternoon.

He went diving with a 38 year old man from the same area but had failed to return.

This is the third day that the Sigatoka Police have been searching the coastal area as investigation into the matter continues.
