25 year old woman is believed to be the latest road fatality

A 25 year old woman from Sigatoka is believed to be the latest road fatality.

The victim was a passenger of a vehicle on her way to Korolevu in Navosa when the driver allegedly lost control causing it to veer off the road and ended up in a drain.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night.Investigations continue and post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

The road death toll currently stands at 57 compared to 65 for the same period last year.
