CQC Opening

The 2nd Cohort of officers undergoing the Fiji Police Constable Qualifying Course got underway this morning with the Chief Administration Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Aporosa Lutunauga stressing the importance of education and training.

Participants joined the virtual opening from the five policing divisions where they were reminded by the Chief Administration Officer of the need to utilize the four week training to put things into perspective regarding their careers.

“It’s easy to get stuck in a rut where you are too comfortable and just sit by and watch others pass you.

Take these four weeks to analyse how far you have come, and make the necessary adjustments to your professional and personal lives as the rapid pace at which our organization is growing and developing will wait for no one”.

“The CQC Training is designed in a way that it also acts as a refresher to what you had previously learnt during the Basic Recruits Course.

From theoretical to practical, and now that you’re back in the classrooms, use this time to put things into perspective.

Expectations upon the completion of this course, is of well-informed qualified Police Constables who are bold enough to apply processes and procedures without anyone constantly looking over their shoulder”.

The CQC Training ends in four weeks.
