courtesy call on India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Joint Secretary (Oceania)

The Commissioner of Police, Brig. Gen. Sitiveni T. Qiliho on the sideline of the 90th INTERPOL General Assembly 2022 held in New Delhi, India (19-21 Oct 22), paid a courtesy call on India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Joint Secretary (Oceania) Mrs. Paramita Tripathi.

Cordial talks were held with the offering of Indian Government assistance to strengthen the Fiji Police Force (FPF) through placements ininternationally acclaimed Indian Training Institutions, assist in the FPF’s Health & Wellness Programs through Medical Services and Pharmaceuticals, and a significant investment in FPF’s Institutional Strengthening projects.

The Fiji Police will work closely with the India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) to further develop the discussions which Commissioner Qiliho has hailed as significant milestone of direct cooperation and assistance to the Fiji Police Partnership.
