Arrested of Harbouring Prisoner

A 32 year old woman was arrested last night after information was received of her alleged involvement in harbouring escaped prisoner Lemeki Tupali.

The woman was arrested in Raiwai and is believed to have met Tupali after he escaped from the Colonial War Memorial Hospital on Sunday night.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is requesting to call Crime Stoppers Fiji on 919 or their nearest Police Station.

The Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has issued a stern warning that anyone found to be aiding or harboring Tupali will be arrested and will face the full brunt of the law.
