Case of Interest

A 5-year old child is alleged to have drowned whilst bathing in a river near Navakaka Village in Savusavu.

The victim was bathing with cousins when the alleged incident occurred on Saturday afternoon.

Attempts to revive him proved futile.

A post mortem will be conducted as investigations continue.
