Prep Meeting for 2022 PICP CONFERENCE

Preparatory meetings for the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Annual Conference scheduled for the 24th to 26th of August was held yesterday at the Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Nadi.

21 Pacific Chiefs of Police will meet after a lapse of 2-years for their Annual Conference with the theme “Workforce Well-being and Resilience”.

The 2022 PICP Conference also marks the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the PICP.

The PICP was founded in 1970 in Suva, and the celebrations scheduled to be held in 2020 were put on hold due to the pandemic.

The Fiji Police Force is looking forward to welcoming back the Chiefs of Police, members of the Women’s Advisory Network and observers in the coming days as we meet to discuss security matters in making Our Blue Pacific Safer Together.
