Brigadier General Qiliho held his Commissioner’s Hour and later hosted the Northern Division Officer's cadre to their 50th Anniversary Independence Dinner, which was put on hold due to COVID.
The Commissioner’s Hour was an opportunity for the Northern Division’s Officer’s Cadre to hold a talanoa session with the head of the organization on issues and challenges faced by the middle managers and senior command.
Brigadier General Qiliho assured the officers of the Command’s support towards ensuring issues raised on both administrative and operational matters were addressed.
The Commissioner said at the national command level, a lot of trust is placed on Divisional and middle managers, as the implementation of the intent and vision of the organization is only possible through their support and leadership of officers men and women under their command.
Brigadier General Qiliho thanked the officers for upholding the integrity of the policing profession with little to no supervision and acknowledged officer’s families for their unwavering support labeling them as the unsung heroes of policing.
The Officer’s Formal Dinner also celebrated the achievements of the newly promoted Officers and provided the Officers Cadre the opportunity to be part of a tradition that has been put on hold for a number of years.
