Man charged for burglary

A man in his 20s will be produced at the Savusavu Magistrates Court charged with his alleged involvement in a burglary case at the Tukavesi Post Office.

The accused is alleged to have broken into the Tukavesi Post Office sometime between the 9th and 11th of July and stole assorted items worth more than $1,000 dollars.

Quick action by officers based at the Tukavesi Police Station resulted in his arrest where recoveries were also made.

He has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft.
