Labasa College Prefects Induction Ceremony

“Train your mind to see the good in every situation.

A successful leader is someone who is footed and conserved on moral values such as Honesty, Integrity, Trustworthy, Empathy.

Divisional Police Commander Senior Superintendent of Police Viliame Soko made the remarks while officiating at the Labasa College Prefects Induction Ceremony yesterday.

“Encourage fellow students with hope and appreciate their efforts and contribution, a person who feels appreciated, will always do more than what is expected”.

SSP Soko while addressing other students urged them to cooperate with their elected Prefects.

“The leaders will lead through command, the follower's role is none other than obedience alone.

Your obedience will contribute to your personal and character development for a better leader in the years to come”.

While addressing parents, guardians and teachers he said, Teaching and instilling moral behavior starts from home.

You are the first teacher, and home is the first classroom.

You set the learning platform, teachers will only polish and do the final touch-up on character molding”.

“Never pass your parental responsibilities to anyone, teach and introduce the World to your children rather than letting them find their own ways because it’s too costly and deadly.

The Divisional Police Commander North also took the opportunity to thank the school management for supporting the work of the Fiji Police Force through the Crime Stoppers Scholastic Program.
