Rakiraki Police Spread Christmas Cheer


Rakiraki Police Station personnel’s today visited the Naqoro Hart Home to spread the Christmas cheer with residents of the home.

Rakiraki Police Officers today hosted residents of the home to lunch and refreshments.

An emotional 59-year-old Ms. Sereseini Narole, the hart home spokesperson said, that Police Officers in Rakiraki are now their guardian angels.

“We never thought that anyone would ever think of us while in here. Suddenly these angels from Rakiraki Police Station showed up to celebrate Christmas with us by hosting us lunch,” said Ms Narole.

Officer in Charge of Rakiraki Police District (OCPD/Rakiraki) Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Parmesh Ram said this is the time of the year when families get together to celebrate.

“We thought of celebrating with the Naqoro Hart Home Families. Putting a smile on the children’s face was the best Christmas present for us and we believe the season is all about giving,” said ASP Ram.

OCPD/Rakiraki said during Christmas, they will be out on full force trying to ensure that everyone enjoys without any incident.

ASP Ram and the team ended the day cleaning up the compound and also had a short devotion.
