PFP courtesy visit to Commissioner

#Vinakavakalevu Pacific Faculty of Policing (PFP) Director Programs Mr. Mark Trim and Lecturer Mr Matt Heysmand for reaffirming the Australian Institute of Police Managements commitment to supporting the Fiji Police Force’s intent of enhancing leadership capabilities through training and development.

The Fiji Police Force has been the recipient of various leadership programs delivered by the AIPM’s Pacific Faculty of Policing, specifically focusing on enhancing the professional leadership capabilities of police officers to manage current and emerging security threats.

The two PFP representatives paid a courtesy call on the Fiji Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu, where discussions were held on current engagements between the two institutions as well as future programs facilitated in Fiji and Australia.

The AIPM and PFP leadership program is aligned to the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police’s (PICP) Pacific Police Training Advisory Group (PPTAG)
