A 26 and a 29-year-old man of Mead Road Housing, Nabua, was arrested yesterday for unlawful possession of illicit drugs and resisting arrest.
The Southern Division Police team conducted a raid on the above address, and the two had thrown a bag towards the nearby bushes.
The Police team found a black sling bag that had 3 ziplock containing white crystal substances believed to be methamphetamine and assorted cash in 50s,20s,10s, and 5s Fijian currency totalling to $5560.00.
Cash is believed to be proceeds of crime from the sale of illicit drugs.
The above items were seized, and the two were arrested as the investigation is underway.
