3 men arrested for illicit drugs


3 men are in Police custody after they were found with illicit drugs.

On Sunday afternoon, Police and Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU) raided a house at Tamole Settlement, New Town.

A 56-year-old unemployed man and a 23- year-old Car Was attendant voluntary gave up the illicit drugs that were hidden within the house.

They duo gave up 117 sachets of dried leaves wrapped in aluminium foil believed to be marijuana.

Yesterday, a 53-year-old casual worker of Newtown Settlement was arrested for being in possession of illicit drugs.

Police and the FDDU with a search warrant raided the suspect’s residence.

A portion of dried leaves believed to be marijuana was voluntarily surrendered by the suspect.

All three men are in Police custody as investigation continues.
