Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said in one raid conducted by Savusavu Police in the Viani farming area, more than 200 plants believed to be marijuana were seized.
In another raid conducted yesterday in the Navosa highlands, more than 1000 plants believed to be marijuana were seized.

ACP Driu said the seizures augured well with efforts to reduce supply as some were being prepared for distribution.
While farm raids continue, raids continue in urban centres resulting in successful seizures.

Investigations continue and the suspects have been taken into custody.
The Assistant Commissioner Operations says the Fiji Police Force will not relent on its current momentum on disrupting and destabilising networks and warns that attempts to derail policing efforts will be in vain.
