Refresher for blue light officials

The Western Division Community Policing Division hosted New Zealand Blue Light Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brendon Crompton yesterday.

 The Fiji Police Force has been working with the New Zealand Blue Light to deliver targeted youth empowerment programmes focused on harnessing leadership and personal development.

Three camps have successfully been held in Nadi, Sigatoka and Ba, the outcomes of which were presented to the visiting CEO by the Divisional Manager Community Policing West (DMCP/W) Superintendent of Police (SP) Lepani Liga.

It was also a quick refresher for the trainers who were certified last year to deliver the Blue Light camp for youths in Fiji. 

The alternative empowerment program allows youths to understand their own potential in becoming leaders amongst their peers and in their own communities.
