Officer graduates from LEMHANNAS


Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kasiano Vusonilawe has committed to ensuring the return of investment on his study opportunity at the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) is reflected in the execution of ?h?is duties at the senior managerial level.

SSP Vusonilawe graduated in strategic policy studies from the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) last month, paid a courtesy call on the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew this morning where he provided an overview of his studies.

SSP Vusonilawe was one of 100 students, inclusive of law enforcement officers and civilian members from Indonesia, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Timor-Leste?, Brunei and Singapore.

The National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) offers comprehensive education programs aimed at generating leader cadres with strong characters. 

The primary objective of the courses is to prepare national-level leader cadres who can effectively navigate and contribute to global, regional, and national development.

The Acting Commissioner who is also a graduate of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) commended SSP Vusonilawe for his commitment in completing the course which spanned over a four year period, having undergone the Bahasa language courses, middle-level management and strategic policy studies.

SSP Vusonilawe joins the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Internal Affairs and Professional Standards (ACP) Sakeo Ganivatu, graduating from the prestigious educational institute in defense to prepare and develop future national leaders, including civil servants and military officers in the context of political strategy and national defense.

SSP Vusonilawe ?said the interaction with law officials and senior civil servants broaden his understanding of leadership from a global context and its implication on regional and national development.

The ?educational opportunity ?further strengthens Fiji’s Memorandum of Understanding on Police Cooperation between the two countries, and the Fiji Police Force extends its sincere appreciation to the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary for Fiji Embassy Jakarta, Indonesia H.E. Amenatave Yauvoli for supporting police cooperation efforts under various police cooperation programmes.
