3 charge for alleged rape

Two juveniles aged 13 and 15, and an 18-year-old will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today charged with the alleged rape of a 13-year-old boy in Lami last month.

The three are alleged to have towards the end of August, forced the victim to perform sexual acts whilst they were at a home belonging to a relative of the victim.

The matter was reported at the Lami Police Station by the victim’s mother earlier this week.

The three accused persons have been charged with rape and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court.
