Never Give Up

Divisional Police Commander, West (DPC/W) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tomasi Bulimaibau encouraged the students of Korovuto College not to give up on their dreams.

SSP Tomasi was the Chief Guest at the Nadi School during their prefect induction yesterday.

The Western Police head congratulated all the prefects appointed but he had special encouragement for the rest of the students.

"Standing before you is a leader who wasn’t even a prefect in Primary or secondary school.

My friends were the one getting the prefect badge at the beginning of the year and getting prizes at the end of it."

He adds that time and time again he kept trying to get recognised in school but always seemed to fall short. "I kept trying and trying.

Today, I have 1242 Police Officers under my leadership . Someone once said it’s not how many times you fall that counts; it’s how many times you get up".

DPC/W encouraged Students to have a goal in life, work towards it and never to give up.

The Crime Stoppers Scholastic Program was also launch at the prefect induction yesterday.
