Missing at Sea

Police are currently looking for Charlie Brown who is missing at sea around the Nukulau Island area.

Mr Brown of Narere Stage one is believed to be missing at sea after he left out with a friend to fish near Nukulau Island around 05.00pm yesterday afternoon.

Sometimes after midnight it is believed that he fell into the sea after their fiberglass boat was struck by lightning.

Mr Brown's friend managed to swim ashore and lodged the report with Police at around 03.15am this morning.

A search and rescue team has been formed and deployed to the area.
