Participants of the one week Youth Workshop were reminded to keep striving for their dreams by the Western Divisional Police Commander (DPC/W) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tomasi Bulamaibau.
The one week workshop was organized by the Pacific Center for Peace Building and the Ministry of Youth.
SSP Tomasi in his closing address on Friday afternoon (29/04/22) reminded the youth participants that dreams do come true, but can also be cut short if they step on the wrong side of the law.
He stressed that most of them come from known neighborhoods.
“Don’t let a label or a reputation hold you back from realizing your potential.
That unfortunately is our biggest drawback as a society,” said SSP Tomasi.
The Youths were reminded that stakeholders such as the Fiji Police Force and the workshop organizers will always be around to assist them in pursuing their future dreams.
SSP Tomasi thanked the organizers for organsing such a unique workshop and he hoped that more similar workshop will happen soon in order to assist other Youths.
