World Maritime Day will be celebrated in Fiji this Friday – 28/09 – at the Lower Civic Auditorium with the theme – ‘60 years in the service of shipping’.
All stakeholders in the maritime industry have joined hands to ensure this year’s celebration will be unique. The day will start with a march from the Flea Market led by the RFMF Band.
There will also be a lot of displays for the members of the public to view.
World Maritime Day is used to focus attention on the importance of the shipping Industry to international trade and commerce and to the people involved in the shipping industry and the wider maritime sector. |
