WORLD CHAMPIONS – POLICE RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM
The victorious Fiji Police Rugby League team returned home last Tuesday night after conquering the world – beating New Zealand in the grand finals.
They arrived home at nine in the night and were accorded a traditional welcome ceremony by officers from the Western Division at Namaka Police Station.
They then left for Suva at 10 am the next morning but had to stop at Police Post along the way with lunch prepared at Sigatoka Police Station.
The team arrived at the Officers’ Mess meeting with the Commissioner of Police and his top officers.
Below are some pictures telling the story of this journey.
