CENTRAL DISTRICT CRIME PREVENTION DAY
The Central District Crime Prevention Partnership held its Open Day on Friday 20th September at the Marist Brothers’ High School grounds.
The Partnership was first established in 2005 but was revised in 2007 to accommodate new changes in the division of community policing. Its aim is to find ways to combat rising increase in criminal activities in the community.
The partnership has established networks with many government and non-governmental organizations within the Suva peninsula.
The day started with a march from the Rotuman Methodist Church at Rewa Street led by the Police band.
