The Southern Division rugby team will be taking on the under dog tag against a star-studded RAU line up at the Commissioner's Cup challenge at the TFL Stadium tomorrow, Wednesday, May 18th.
The match will see RAU's first defence after they defeated the Western Force last week at the same venue.
Southerners which comprises of Police ruggers from Navua to Nakasi will be led by Wailoku Police Post officer Viliame Loki who will man the number 8 position.
Team manager ASP Salestino Babakoro said with one day out from the big game, that they will be out to compete with their mostly unknown players.
The only other known players in the team are Police rugby league stars Eroni Dolodai and David Bechu who last year helped the Sharks hoist the Tas Battieri Challenge Trophy.ÂÂ
The match will kick off at 3.30pm as part of the Sukuna Bowl Sports programme but will be preceded by the 7s clashes of the forces from 2pm.
Meanwhile, this week will see only rugby in the programm with netball, soccer and volleyball taking a breather after 4 weeks.
All games will be played at the TFL Stadium and admission is free and all family and friends of the Forces are urged to come out and support their men in their sports outing.
