PDFPrintE-mail

Thoughts of death clouded the mind of 47 year old Bukama villager of Yasawa as he lay in the Intensive Care Unit at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva.

He could not move, he was helpless, he had just survived a massive stroke. Only his mind was working and was aware of everything happening around him, but his body was limp and helpless including his speech.

He had never felt so helpless in his life.
What was supposed to be a one week bose ni tikina o Ba in Suva turned bitter for the village headmen as he collapsed and got admitted at the first day of the convention
Timoci Tuva couldn’t believe his miracle on Friday when two policemen from the Totogo Police Station visited him at the CWM hospital.

And it was because of this experience that he personally called up Na Ovisa to relay his appreciation to the Police officers who helped save him.

“At first glance I thought that they were going arrest me but they said that they were going to pray for me,” he recalls.

“So the two officers said, that first they were going to introduce me to a person named Jesus.

“They told me that he is healer and a savior.”

“Later, they prayed for me, and suddenly I felt I could move my arms and legs again.”

“Much later I got up and could walk without any support, and my speech was much better.

“I really thank god for healing me through these two fine police man in whom I have found two friends for life, they were strangers but they came.

Tuva says he believes it is his duty now to go forth and spread the good word as he is living proof of Gods miracle.

“Especially, to my villagers back home,” Tuva added

The father of four plans to coordinate a revival crusade together with the Police Force back in his village, so that his people could meet the same man he met named Jesus.
