The small and quiet town of Nabouwalu was bustling away as personnel at Nabouwalu Police Station prepared the venue for the upcoming declaration of the town as a crime free one.
They will be officiating at the Crime Free Declaration programme this morning.
Sheds have been erected on the main venue, a small ground on the foreshore of the small Northern town.
The normally quiet town came alive to the sound of praises and action choruses today as youths from the Omega Christian Worship team presented at the ground.
Station Officer/ Nabouwalu, Inspector Samuela Matai stated that the men and women of Nabouwalu Police Station were ready to host their visitors and were looking forward to the declaration of the town as crime free town. He further stated that they are also ready to ensure that the golden gateway of the North was a peaceful and crime free place
