A team of photographers from the Registry at Police Headquarters are currently touring the Northern Region making Identity cards for personnel in the division.

The team is headed by Corporal 2256 Satish Prasad and PC 4522 Henry who are making Police ID cards for personnel in the region.

CPL Prasad confirmed that the idea to renew police ID cards comes along with the Commissioner of Police's intent to improve the Police customer service with the ID card system so that personnel can be easily identified by members of the general public when doing enquiry out in the public sphere.

CPL Prasad said that the approach is to better the customer service of police personnel when dealing with members of the public.

The team will head to the Western Region for the same purpose and that they have finished with the Southern and the Eastern Division including the Northern Division.
