The city of Suva stood still for a moment to watch the monthly affair of the Change of Guards at the President’s House.

The monthly event which signifies the change of guard at the Presidential Palace at Nasese was witnessed by many as the Fiji Military Forces marched through Suva City up to the entrance at Nasese to take over the reins from the Fiji Police who stood guard at the establishment for the month of June. The Change of Guard is held on the last Saturday of every month and is an event unique to the Republic of Fiji.
