It is the second day of the Gaunavou Sevens Rugby Tournament and police at Savusavu Police Station headed by the Station Officer Savusavu, Inspector Tomalsi Yabakiono has lauded his men for their support since day one of the competition.

This follows nil reports or disturbances since day one.

The Gaunavou Operation is focused on crowd control, safeguarding money that is collected from the tournament, and monitoring criminal elements that may enter the ground during the three day tournament.

"This kind of competition usually attracts drug dealers and drug users that try to transport and sell their products since there is a large crowd involved and Savusavu Police Station officers are here to ensure that this does not happen", said IP Yabakiono.
