THEME: WE WILL REAP WHAT WE SOW
TEXT: Galatians 6:7-9
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Let us not become weary in doing well, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up”.
It would certainly be a surprise if you planted corn and pumpkins came up. As a natural law to reap what we sow. It’s true in other areas too; if you gossip and ill treat about your friend, you will loose your friendship. Every action we make will give us results.
If you do things for your own gain you will certainly reap sorrow and evil. If you do things to please god; you will reap his joy and everlasting life.
We are just in the beginning of our journey; what kind of seeds are you ready to plant for 2012.
At the end of the day we will reap this seed. From this Paul’s word of advice he challenges us to keep on doing well and trust god for the results.
In due time we will reap a harvest of blessing in 2012 and onwards.
Amen.
