This was the message by the Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald during the opening of the dragger operator's course at the Fiji Police Academy this morning (28th July, 2014).

logoPolice are appealing to members of the public on the location of a stolen taxi with registration number LT 1646.

The taxi which was stolen on Monday night was parked at Vishnu Deo Road, Nakasi at 10.00pm.

The driver had earlier parked opposite Village Six when the accused boarded the vehicle and they went around Suva before they arrive at Nakasi.

drowningPolice are investigating an incident where a two year old baby boy drowned at Gunu Village in Yasawa.

The incident occurred last Friday (18/07/14) when his mother was breastfeeding her younger baby when the deceased left to play at their neighbor's house.
